We are pleased to announce that yesterday Rep. Tim Bishop (D-NY) and Rep. Michael N. Castle (R-DE) introduced H.R. 1895, the Safe Teen And Novice Driver Uniform Protection (STANDUP) Act in the House of Representatives. This is a first and important step toward stronger, effective Graduated Driver Licensing laws across the nation.
As soon as we receive a copy of the official bill text, we will share it with you. We will also be sending information about reaching out to other members of Congress to urge them to support the STANDUP Act by becoming co-sponsors of H.R. 1895.
